| | Erick Salazar (capoeira instructor) graduado "parceiro" was born in Merida ,Venezuela,. He moved to the US at the age 18 and has lived in Austin for the last 10 years. making it his second hometown . Erick began training Capoeira in 1999 under Mestre Rodrigo Zerlotti "Capoeira Evolução".He has travelled all over the US participating in rodas , events and workshops from different groups,gaining more knowledge and skills in the trade.Recently Erick joined Capoeira Maculelê , were he met Mestre Fran and his family which lead him opening a Capoeira Maculelê chapter in Austin.Today Erick continues to learn and grow with the group striving to make a difference in the lives of his students |
