"Happiness, groove and musicality. A passion for brazilian music and improvisation. Freedom of expression through funky-samba. That is Funk Brasil, a sizzling ensemble including some of the most talented world musicians in Austin, TX.
The repertoire includes classic hits from Jorge Ben and Gilberto Gil, as well as more contemporary compositions from Lenine, Seu Jorge, Cascabulho, Chico Science and others. The shows are packed with energy and the vibe is always vibrant and positive. Come dance with us ! Life is too short to shy away from samba."
