About the class: Learn how yoga is related to daily activities for physical and mental growth. The class will focus on basic yoga tenets such as breath, alignment in poses, basic warm-up series and the idea of flow. The class will progress in poses and will allow for much discussion and interaction. The class will be open and fun with room for lively interaction as we learn about this long-standing healthy and powerful practice. Further details about the class will be provided upon registration.
Who should do it: These classes are for everyone in the community! This session will be great for people who already have an exercise or yoga practice or who have never tried yoga at all. What to wear, what to bring: Wear clothes that you can stretch in. Some mats provided. Bring your own if you have one or a towel to lie on.
