Un cuento Chino (Chinese Take Away)Argentina/ Comedy/ 2011/ 93 min Spanish with English Subtitles
About the Movie:Roberto is a quiet man, who likes to enjoy the little pleasures of life. He runs the old family shop, lives alone in the familiar house, doing the same every day, it seems as he has constructed a trench to stay where neither nothing and nobody distorts his universe. But suddenly a strange event will change his world. A Chinese man is throw out from a car, which fastly runs away. He only speaks Chinese and doesn’t know anybody in Buenos Aires. Roberto finds himself forced to help him, and without knowing exactly how, the Chinese guy ends up in his lonely house. His strange presence triggers weird situations in a sweet-and-sour, sometimes black, “odd couple” comedy. The difficulties of lack of communication, the distance with of the other, and the fear of living are some of the topics subtly treated in this sweet, charmy little film which catches the audience quickly and with pleasure. But this tragicomedy, full of tenderness, has a main ace: the performance of one of the best Argentinian actors ever, Ricardo Darin, who faces up his own “As Good As It Gets” to captivate the audience. http://www.uncuentochino.com.ar/
