| | The rhythms and melodies of the Caribbean and Latin America come alive in the music of Frenezí, a 6-piece band based in Austin, Texas. Much of their repertoire is original music, with Herby Augustin providing vocals in Haitian Creole, Spanish and English. Frenezí plays to both listeners and dancers. The band members are; Yonnel Augustin, drums; Luis Terry Veitia, congas; Jeff Farris, lead guitar; Robert Vignaud, bass; Steve Reich, saxophone & keyboards, and Herby Augustin, lead vocals, guitar & percussion. In addition to their original music, they perform covers of classic tunes in a variety of Afro-Caribbean and Latin styles, such as bolero, chachacha, and merengue. Ven a bailar….con Frenezí!
