Blending Samba, Funk, Rn'B, Jazz, Rock, Tropicalia and Afro-Brazilian chants; Os Alquimistas have prepared a special concert for this date, featuring the debut of new compositions as well as new interpretations of classic songs by Milton Nascimento, Caetano Veloso and Jorge Ben to mention a few.
Forming the band are seasoned performers from a variety of ethnic and musical backgrounds, each contributing to Os Alquimistas' unique brand of musical expression. Your body will surely sway in the dance floor. as the music is both groove-oriented and inviting. Expect freedom, expect laughter, expect great musicality and originality through the exploration of brazilian sounds.
Ile-Iyo, a drumming group consisted of over 20 drummers exploring the rhythms of the African diaspora will open the show.
